The 85th Annual Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival is set to take place in Portland, Tennessee, on May 8 and 9, 2026.
This year's theme, "Berry Proud to be an American," celebrates both the festival's rich history and the nation's 250th anniversary.
The festivities kick off on Friday, May 8, with the Strawberry Jam Concert & Fireworks.
Starting at 5 p.m., attendees can enjoy live music and a variety of food vendors, culminating in a fireworks display at 8:30 p.m.
The main festival day on Saturday, May 9, promises a vibrant atmosphere with over 250 vendors, multiple music stages, a dedicated kids' area, and a magic stage.
The day's highlight is the parade at 4 p.m., bringing the community together in a festive procession.
Notably, vendor applications for this year's festival closed on January 15, 2026, due to an overwhelming response.
Organizers received over 450 applications, reflecting the event's growing popularity.
Attendees can look forward to a diverse array of offerings from these vendors, including local crafts, delicious food, and, of course, fresh strawberries.
Admission to the festival is free, and complimentary parking and shuttle services are available to ensure a convenient experience for all visitors.
