Citizens Police Academy in Sumner County, TN

Applications for the Hendersonville Citizens Police Academy are set to open on April 1, offering residents a unique opportunity to gain firsthand insight into law enforcement operations.

This engaging 10-week program is designed to foster a deeper understanding and stronger connections between the community and the dedicated officers serving it.

Participants can expect weekly classes, each lasting approximately two hours, featuring interactive, hands-on learning experiences.

These sessions provide a behind-the-scenes look at police operations and offer direct engagement with officers.

The program is scheduled to run from September through November, with 22 spots available for participants.

Applications can be obtained at the front desk of the Hendersonville Police Department or printed and submitted at the station located at 3 Executive Park Drive, Hendersonville.
