Prestigious Award Recognizes Outstanding Leadership and Community Impact |
The Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce has been honored as the 2025 Chamber of the Year by the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE).
This esteemed award acknowledges chambers that exhibit exceptional leadership, innovation, and significant impact within their communities.
Each year, the TCCE presents the Chamber of the Year Award to two chambers: one with more than 700 members and another with 699 members or fewer.
Recipients are selected based on excellence in chamber management, with entries evaluated by a panel of out-of-state chamber executives.
The Gallatin Chamber was recognized for its remarkable achievements over the past 18 months in four key areas: Networking & Communication, Education & Workforce Development, Advocacy & Government Relations, and Community Engagement & Social Impact.
“The Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce continues to set the standard for what it means to serve a community with vision, creativity, and heart,” said Suzie Lusk, Vice President of Events and External Affairs for the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
“Their dedication to growing businesses, fostering workforce partnerships, and engaging the community is exactly what this award was designed to celebrate.”
Several innovative programs contributed to the Chamber’s recognition, including expanded workforce development initiatives connecting K–12 schools with local employers, new community events that foster engagement and support small businesses, and advocacy efforts ensuring Gallatin’s business community has a strong voice at the local and state levels.
“This recognition is a testament to the leadership, members, and partners who make the Gallatin Area Chamber such a vital force in our community,” said Ciera Holman, Gallatin Area Chamber Board Chair.
“Our board, staff, and volunteers are committed to strengthening Gallatin’s business community while ensuring our city remains a thriving place to live, work, and grow.”
The Chamber of the Year Award reflects the organization’s longstanding mission to connect people, grow businesses, and champion the Gallatin community.
In addition to this accolade, the Chamber has recently launched several initiatives aimed at furthering community engagement and economic development.
Notably, the inaugural Women Empowering Leadership and Learning (WELL) Summit was held on April 23, 2025.
This event brought together women from various sectors to inspire and empower them in their professional and personal growth.
Keynote speakers included Paige Brown, Mayor of Gallatin, and Kee Bryant-McCormick, Sumner County General Sessions Court Judge.
Another significant event is the upcoming Gallatin Gusto Gala, scheduled for October 18, 2025.
This elegant evening will celebrate enhancement and innovation in Gallatin, benefiting the Gallatin Chamber Foundation.
These events underscore the Chamber’s commitment to fostering a vibrant and connected community.
