Celebrate the Season with Music, Art, and Festive Fun in Sumner County |
The Gallatin Public Library of Sumner County is set to host its cherished annual event, the Christmas Open House, on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 123 E Main St, Gallatin, Tennessee 37066.
This festive gathering promises an evening filled with holiday cheer and community spirit. Attendees can enjoy live performances by the Keen School of Music and the Cumberland Carolers from Character Visits 4 U, creating a lively atmosphere with classic Christmas tunes.
Children and families will have the opportunity to meet Santa Steve, making it the perfect occasion for last-minute gift requests and memorable photos.
Local artist Creative Carmella, along with authors Craig Erlewine, J.D. Webb, and Christina Dotson, will be present, offering unique artworks and books for sale. This is an excellent chance to support local creatives while finding special holiday gifts.
Sunnyside Bakeshop will provide delectable holiday treats, and the Friends of the Gallatin Library will offer complimentary sweets to satisfy every sweet tooth.

Sumner Santa Parade 2025 On December 6, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, downtown Sumner will host the annual Santa Parade. Local businesses and performers will showcase their holiday spirit along Main Street. Applications for parade participants are open until November 23.
Gallatin Christmas Parade Scheduled for Saturday, December 13, at noon, this year's parade theme is "Christmas Is..." Participants are encouraged to creatively interpret what Christmas means to them. The event is presented by Primrose School of Gallatin.
