Community Gathers for Festive Start to the Holiday Season |
The City of Goodlettsville invites residents and visitors to commence the holiday season with the annual Hometown Holidays celebration.
The festivities begin with the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 6:00 PM at City Hall, located at 105 S Main Street, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.
Attendees will witness the illumination of the city's new Christmas tree, accompanied by holiday music.
Following the tree lighting, guests are encouraged to explore the enchanting Candy Cane Village, featuring whimsically decorated houses that capture the spirit of the season.
Each house, uniquely adorned by local sponsors, adds a touch of magic to the City Hall grounds.
At 6:30 PM, the celebration continues with Santa's Holiday Party at the Delmas Long Community Center, 200 Memorial Drive.
Families can enjoy visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, live entertainment, holiday crafts, and refreshments.
The entertainment lineup includes performances by the Men of Harmony Barbershop Chorus, the Goodlettsville Senior Adult Program Line Dancers, the Madison Creek Step Squad, and the Madison Creek Elementary Xylophones and Drums.
Parking is available at City Hall and the Delmas Long Community Center.
