As the crisp autumn air settles over Sumner County, the historic Cragfont State Historic Site in Castalian Springs, TN, invites you to an evening of ghostly tales and haunting melodies at the annual Haunts at the Font event.
Scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 6:00 PM, this immersive experience promises to transport visitors back in time, unveiling the spectral stories that linger within the walls of this storied mansion.
Guests will embark on a lantern-lit journey, beginning at the historic tobacco barn and winding their way toward the imposing silhouette of Cragfont.
Along the path, attendees will encounter characters from Cragfont's spirited past, each sharing spine-tingling tales that have echoed through the ages.
To soothe the shivers, warm apple cider will be served by the fire, accompanied by the hauntingly beautiful strains of historic murder ballads performed by the renowned Traveling Caudells.

$15 for ages 16 and up
$12 for ages 9 to 15
Children under 9 are admitted free of charge.

The experience is primarily outdoors, with limited access to the historic house.
Guests will traverse approximately half a mile, including stairs in dimly lit conditions.
There will be no trick-or-treating or jump scares during the event.
