As originally reported in the Smokey Barn News, a Jeep crashed into a residence on the 3000 block of Indian Ridge Boulevard in White House, Tennessee, on Saturday evening, causing significant damage before fleeing the scene.
The incident occurred around 6:04 p.m., prompting an immediate response from local emergency services.
According to officials, the vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage but managed to drive away in the direction of Calista Road.
Authorities are urging residents to report any sightings of a Jeep with noticeable front-end damage.
Assistant Chief Cary Petitt of the White House City Fire Department reported that the crash compromised the garage and weakened load-bearing structures of the home.
The homeowner has been advised to avoid using the bonus room until necessary repairs are completed.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the home's occupants.
Responding agencies included the White House City Fire Department, Robertson County EMS, and the White House Police Department.
Authorities continue to investigate and are seeking assistance from the community to locate the vehicle and driver involved in this hit-and-run incident.
