The Voice of Hendersonville: A New Stage for Local Talent at Half Batch Brewing

Hendersonville's vibrant music community is set to shine as The Voice of Hendersonville makes its debut this January at Half Batch Brewing.

 

This live band karaoke competition offers local singers a unique platform to showcase their talents.

 

Located at 154 Bonita Parkway, Half Batch Brewing will host the event, inviting participants aged 21 and over to take the stage.

 

The competition unfolds over three preliminary rounds on January 17, January 24, and January 31, each from 7 to 10 p.m.

 

From these rounds, top performers will advance to the finals on February 7.

 

Each preliminary night features 12 singers performing alongside a live band.

 

Advancement is determined by a combined scoring system: 50% from audience participation and 50% from two celebrity judges.

 

The top four singers from each round will move on to the finals.

 

In the event of a tie, contestants will engage in a sing-off with a different song, following the same voting rules.

 

Participants are required to submit four songs upon registration: one for the initial performance, one for the finals if they advance, a tiebreaker song, and an additional selection.

 

Performance dates for the preliminary rounds will be assigned after registration.

 

There's a $45 entry fee per contestant, with proceeds benefiting a local charity.

 

The grand prize includes round-trip airfare for two to Las Vegas.
