Inclusive Baseball Program Seeks Players and Volunteer Coaches for Upcoming Season |
Exciting news for the White House, TN and Sumner County TN community: the Parks and Recreation Department has officially opened registration for the Challenger Baseball League.
This program is dedicated to providing children and individuals with disabilities the chance to enjoy baseball in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment.
In addition to welcoming new players, the department is actively seeking volunteer coaches for the upcoming season.
While prior coaching experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement.
A positive attitude and a commitment to making a difference are the key qualifications.
Interested individuals can register now, with the registration period remaining open through March 8th.
Games are scheduled to commence in April.
For those eager to get involved, whether as a player or a coach, reaching out to the Parks and Recreation Department is encouraged.
Participation in this league not only promotes physical activity but also fosters community spirit and inclusivity.
Engaging in programs like the Challenger Baseball League and attending local events are wonderful ways to connect with neighbors and contribute to the town's dynamic atmosphere.
For more information on registration and upcoming events, residents are encouraged to contact the White House Parks and Recreation Department or visit the city's official website. Of course, Sumner County Pulse will keep you updated as well.
Let's come together to support and celebrate the diverse opportunities our community offers. |
